“Jesus Wept” :”The worst fears Posted on August 1, 2004 by Jody+ “Jesus Wept” :”The worst fears of Iraq’s beleaguered Christian minority were realised yesterday when an apparently coordinated wave of car bombs targeted worshippers at Sunday evening prayers in churches in Baghdad and in the northern city of Mosul. The attacks in Baghdad killed one person and injured between 50 and 55 people, medical officials said, though one hospital official said at least eight people had died. The blasts in Mosul killed one person and injured 11 others.
