This is perhaps one of the best treatments I’ve ever heard regarding predestination. I’ll go ahead and give you the punch-line and see if you are curious about how she gets there: Predestination and freedom are the same thing. Part of why this is such a great sermon is the selection of sources she weaves together: Paul, Augustine, C.S. Lewis and JRR Tolkein. How can you go wrong? This is the variety of predestination that I agree with…what I often hear described by those who claim to believe in predestination however… well, not so much.
